"I found it very helpful"

About: Children and Young People Services / HENRY Programme (Health, Exercise & Nutrition in Really Young)

(as a parent/guardian),

I have attended the HENRY Programme in Armagh with Sure Start and have found it very helpful to introduce healthy habits within our home. As I have a young child it has given me more confidence in being able to understand these healthy habits, including food and emotional wellbeing for her and myself. I now have some new ideas of playtime and rewards, from the other parents who attended and Zoe and Levgeniia. It was great to be in a space with no judgement and I really enjoyed talking about what we do at home and listening to others.

Hello chassisdp43,

thank you for taking the time to post this lovely review regarding your recent experience with the HENRY programme. It is great to see that you found it useful.

At HENRY, we aim to support the whole family with creating and maintaining a happy and healthy environment and it would appear that you are doing just that. I am delighted that you have mentioned there was no judgement as this is exactly how it is intended. We understand the challenges that can occur when parenting any young family and we strive to support with these and focus on realistic solutions unique to each family.

I will pass this review on to Ievgeniia and Zoe who, like all of our facilitators, deliver the programme with great enthusiasm, knowledge and compassion.

Wishing you and your daughter all the best.

Anne Crawford

HENRY Coordinator SHSCT.
