I was admitted to QEUH ward 11b for pain management after my ear operation.
I couldn't manage my pain at home nothing was settling it. I was on the ward for several days. I was in a lot of pain post op and the staff were very understanding and honestly could not have done more to help and support me. Natalie took my stitches out and was brilliant alongside showing a student nurse. I really enjoyed my stay on the ward. The staff helped get my pain under control so I could go back home to recover further.
Thank you to everyone who supported and looked after me during my short stay. Special shoutout to Natalie, Emma and the Irish nightshift nurse.
