"Her cheery personality makes such a difference"

About: Doncaster - Community Nurses / Community Nursing - South

(as a carer),

Mum has primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis and broke her hips few months ago, since then Mum has developed a stage 3 pressure sore on her sacrum which the district nurses have been treating including Roxanne.

Roxanne has been visiting Mum to change her wound dressings, administer bowel care and generally check on Mums health. Roxanne has an excellent bedside manner and has become one of Mums favourite nurses due to Roxanne’s proactive and gentle care. Roxanne is very caring and very conscientious.

We are very grateful of her care and support dressing Mums wound. Her cheery personality makes such a difference to Mum. Thank you.

Hello, I am the team leader for South Community Nursing Team. I would firstly like to thank you for taking the time to write such lovely feedback. It is very nice to hear of your mum's positive experiences with the care she is being provided. I will ensure this is fed back to Roxanne. I know she will be very grateful for the time you have taken to post. Thanks again.
