About: West Scotland Breast Screening Centre

(as a service user),

I attended for Breast screening, which by its very  nature can provoke a level of anxiety.

However from the moment I presented at reception through to the screening process itself, I was treated kindly and pleasantly by all the staff.

I’d like to particularly mention Elaine, who undertook my screening and did so professionally, maintaining my dignity at all times. 

It was a really positive experience.

Many thanks for your very kind words and for taking the time out to contact us. I am absolutely delighted that the staff at reception and Elaine were able to make this experience a positive one for you. I am so happy to be able to share this with them today.

I am also really grateful to you for posting this positive message and hope that your words will encourage other women who are worried or apprehensive about attending for this vital test.
