"Access to listening to music"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as a service user),

I have had around 7-8 Bush mp3 players now because they keep breaking and there is no other option to choose from other than spending another £20 AGAIN! to be able to listen music, there is a £79.99 sony mp3 player from Argos that isn't approved due to the capability of being able to store images but my argument is that there is nowhere for us to download images and the Intendo switch can do a lot more than this sony mp3 player can do yet the switch is approved why not the sony mp3, something needs doing about the faulty Bush mp3 players which iv'e raised before.

Thank you for raising your concern. I have spoken with Zest, and they confirm that other patients across the hospital have a similar experience with their Bush MP3 players. I am going to reach out to the supplier to see if they can recommend an alternative product with similar functionality and price point.

I will publish an article on the intranet so that you have access to regular updates.
