"The kindest and most professional staff"

I attended the Freeman Ward Day Treatment Centre on 14/3/25 for lumbar decompression surgery and felt compelled to write a review a day later as I was so very grateful for the care I received.

Every member of staff from admin staff on the front desk, surgeon, anaesthetist and nurses were simply amazing and did everything they could to make my time there comfortable and as stress free as possible.

I was beyond anxious coming in for the surgery but I couldn't have asked for better care. Such professionalism and kindness. So grateful for them and our NHS system who were there for me at a really painful and stressful time. Thank you!

A special thank you to the two wonderful nurses who stayed with me in recovery far after closing time. You were such a source of comfort.
