"Excellent care from start to finish"

About: Lagan Valley Hospital / Ward 14 Lisburn Community Services / Occupational Therapy Omagh Primary Care Complex / Stroke Services South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust / Adult Acute Speech and Language Service South West Acute Hospital / Stroke Services

(as a service user),

Excellent care from start to finish!

I started my stroke treatment in Omagh Co Tyrone at the beginning of Jan 2025 when I was taken to SWAH near Enniskillen.

I was assessed as having had a stroke and my treatment path commenced. I received a transfer to the Ward 14 Lagan Valley Hospital.

For continuing treatment to include Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy for my variety of problems I suffered. I found that the integrated approach work well for me personally.

The Ward Staff in particular which included a mix of experience and student nurses. I would like to express my gratitude to them for their care towards me and encouragement which kept me going!
