"Left standing outside"

About: Sexual Health Services - South Staffordshire (Open Clinic)

(as the patient),

I was left standing outside because the door was locked and there was no sign on the door saying the staff were having lunch.

I pressed the buzzer multiple times and nobody answered. I actually hurt my wrist trying to open the door as I didn't know it was locked.

When someone opened the door, they said I was early. I was 5 minutes early. Not very good.

Poor on this occasion due to the reception team. Support worker I saw was fab.

Hi Tangobe44

Thank you for sending in your feedback. I am Suzie, one of the nurse team leaders; I am not sure which clinic it was that you attended. We are sorry on this occasion that the door had been locked and this was not communicated. I will speak to the team and ensure that they remember to display the sign on the door if the doors are shut when clinics are closed for lunch. I am very pleased that you had a positive experience with the Health Care Support Worker you saw.
