I recently registered at this GP practice after unknowingly being removed from my previous one, and I must say that my experience has been extremely disappointing. I called this morning for an urgent appointment regarding a potential nail melanoma, and the behavior of the reception staff was nothing short of appalling.
The staff were incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. They didn’t take the time to explain anything or provide any clarity when I asked questions. Instead, they repeatedly put me on hold without addressing my concerns, and when they did respond, their tone was short and unhelpful. This was especially alarming considering the potential seriousness of my health concern and the vulnerability of many patients who may be reaching out in distress.
I’m not the only one who has encountered this issue, as numerous other reviews on Google mention the same experience with unhelpful and rude staff. Given the importance of a respectful and empathetic first point of contact in a healthcare setting, I find this behavior extremely concerning and upsetting.
I would strongly encourage the practice to address this ongoing problem with their reception team to ensure that future patients are treated with the care and respect they deserve.
