"Very good staff"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Fracture Clinic

(as the patient),

I broke my foot and had a couple of blisters on my toes.. I have had my wound dressed weekly and I was very cantankerous. I forgot that I am allergic to plasters but the staff have been really good at finding the right dressing for me. Firstly they gave me iodine for the blisters but that didn't work, so they tried something else which made my foot swell.

The healthcare assistants were so good. They bent over backwards helping me, as did the doctors.

Dear deploymentkr69,

Many thanks for taking the time to leave such a lovely comment.

We value feedback from our patients and their families as it enables us to make changes if required.

We’re so glad that we were able to work with you to find a solution to your dressings issue.

All patients react very differently when in a clinic environment, there’s no right or wrong. We’re all just glad we could support you on your journey to a full recovery. I will be sure to pass your lovely words on to my colleagues.

With very best wishes
