"Great Experience"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as a service user),

The care I received in Ward 8 at FVRH was outstanding, and I am incredibly grateful for the support from the team.

Lesley and Beth, the maternity breastfeeding experts, were a tremendous help, offering invaluable guidance and encouragement as I navigated those early breastfeeding challenges.

Geraldine, the midwife who handled our discharge, was warm, thorough, and made sure we felt fully prepared to go home. The kindness, expertise, and attention to detail from everyone in the ward made everything much easier, and I left feeling confident and supported.

A special shout out to SCN Jacqueline who came round from ward 7 to check on me and my son also was an example of how this wider team goes above and beyond for their patients.

Dear Wright321,

Thanks so much for providing your feedback about the outstanding care that you received whilst in Ward 8. I will pass on to Lesley and Beth that you felt their support was invaluable, I know they will greatly appreciate this. I am so pleased that Geraldine's care made you feel confident and supported on discharge home, with your new baby son.

Staff endeavour at all time to meet our patient's needs, and I will let Jacqueline know that her efforts were appreciated.

I hope you are doing well since going home, and thanks again for posting your feedback.

Regards

Heather Riddoch
