"Exceptional Care"

I gave birth to my son early January 2025, within the hours after delivery I received exceptional care. Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Hepburn-Scott were exceptional in managing my care during a very critical time after childbirth.

As my condition worsened due to blood loss, their professionalism and calm demeanour provided much-needed reassurance. Dr. Kennedy, in particular, stood out for his ability to balance professionalism with a truly personable approach. He took the time to explain each step of my treatment plan to my husband, who had no background in healthcare. This thoughtful communication ensured that we both understood the gravity of the situation and helped alleviate the anxiety we were experiencing. Their compassionate and knowledgeable care played a crucial role in my recovery, and I felt deeply supported throughout the entire ordeal. It’s clear to see that Dr Kennedy will make a fantastic consultant for gynaecology and obstetrics in the future . His management of my care from ward 8, back to ward 7 and ultimately to back to theatre was calm and considered. 

I truly felt safe at what could have been a very traumatic time for myself and my new family.
