"Exceptional Service"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

My wife has an open wound and her DR's Surgery cancelled the session for dressing and cleaning it. Due to extreme pain we attended A&E, swiftly seen and redirected to wounds unit where member of staff dressed and cleaned the wound and of his own volition arranged for my wife to return and see a specialist to provide further advice and support . Also confirmed it was Grade 4 and my wife was at high risk of infection. Result of the specialist intervention have gained access to a tissue's clinic and further support. This is a reflection of a health service at its best with caring professionals taking actions to reduce high risk of infection, continuity of monitoring and progressing a medical plan, Cannot express enough my appreciation of the personal but professional care and assistance received. I have written separately a letter of appreciation.

Thank you all.
