"Gallbladder removal & biliary stenting"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Day Surgery Crosshouse Hospital / General Surgery

(as a service user),

Sudden onset of pain and nausea, I was seen same day @ the wards medical practice where they observed me over the course of a few days between phone calls and repeat bloods .

Things failed to improve and I was sent to Crosshouse Hospital, then following a scan admitted to 5b the following day under the care of Mr Velu

Over the last 18 months I have had a lap choly and 5 ERCP procedures and I can't thank Mr Velu enough. His down to earth approach and relatable nature really made each visit that bit easier.

I've had 2 separate week long stays in 5b as well as 3 stints in day surgery 1 of which lasted 2 nights. I have never met so many kind and caring staff and they don't get enough credit for the work they do.

Discharged for what is hopefully the final time, I just wanted to say Thank You!
