On three separate occasions within the last month I have had to attend appointments at Arrowe Park and on all of these occasions I have had difficulty parking. On the third occasion, today, I drove around for half an hour before just waiting and "diving" in the first space to become available.
It seemed to me people had just abandoned cars in any free spaces available on kerbsides and walkways (obviously worried they are going to miss their appointments), which leads to more chaos as there is little room for manoeuvre between drivers looking for spaces. Whilst this is going on there are wardens issuing parking tickets instead of maybe helping and directing people to any available spaces. Why has more money been spent on the front entrance to the hospital (which had only been done maybe 10 years ago) and not on making parking facilities more ample to cope with the amount of people using the hospital?
