Louise came to visit my sister who has been under the care of the Memory clinic for 10 months now, for a 6 monthly review appointment.
The visit was very informal & Louise chatted with myself and my sister, asking about various aspects of her care, medication, day to day living etc. She built up a good rapport with us and made my sister feel at ease. Blood pressure was taken & then Louise did a short memory test with my sister, she tends to get anxious with these tests but Louise took it very slowly, didn’t rush my sister & made it a fun experience.
I was also asked regarding my wellbeing ( I am the sister & take on a lot of her care also) and was told about various groups that we could go to & where to access help, if needed.
Louise stayed an hour and I felt that she didn’t rush us, taking time to get to know us & putting my sister at ease throughout. She is very caring & friendly.
I am very happy with all the care & help that we have had from the Memory Clinic.
"Happy with the care and help"
