I was attended A&E with pneumonia and was very unwell I was sent to resus until I was stabilised and then to a room in A&E awaiting a bed on a ward.
The next day Dennis from hospital and home came in and offered to take me on the hospital at home service were they could treat my illness at home.
I was delighted and the care I received was outstanding from the doctor and nurses, I feel this is a wonderful service which also frees up our busy hospital.
