"Stewards were extremely helpful"

About: University Hospital Monklands

(as a relative),

Hello.

I would like to note the difference at UHM with access to the disabled car parking. Historically, this was extremely difficult to park for disabled drivers. Now that there are stewards monitoring traffic in and out of the care park which makes parking so much easier.

I want to highlight an interaction I had with both stewards, called Eddie and Dean who were extremely helpful, professional and sensitive to my relative taking in to account her disability.

Ever since this interaction they have been very friendly, going above and beyond in supporting my relative. As a result, my relative  is now driving herself to UHM as she feels reassured that Eddie and Dean are there to ensure she gets a parking space.

Thanks guys for your support.

Dear louisamylct4,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Monklands.

I am so pleased to hear of the difference having Dean and Eddie monitoring and managing our car parking has had on your relatives experience on attending appointments at Monklands. This is excellent feedback for this service as we are aiming to ensure attendance at hospital is as easy as possible for patients and visitors.

I look forward to passing on your kind words to Eddie and Dean who I am sure will be delighted to hear the impact their work is having on patients.

Best Wishes,

Jenni
