"They cared for me"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Dermatology

(as the patient),

Phone call enabled appoint enable a visit to Dermatology imaging Ayr Hospital to record 'damage' to my skin. Easy to find, pleasant receptionist and simple self assessment form to complete.

Called soon after to be seen by a Senior Nurse and an auxiliary Nurse. These two Ladies were simply wonderful. The whole process was explained at every step.

They were tremendous listeners and 'caring' oozed out of their every pore. 

I cannot praise them enough. I do believe they blushed slightly when my Wife and I thanked them.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the Dermatology Imaging Service within University Hospital Ayr.

I am sorry to hear that you required a hospital appointment to record the damage to your skin, but glad to hear that the telephone appointment enabled this visit. It is reassuring to know that the department was easy to find and that you were welcomed by a pleasant receptionist. It is also great to know that the nursing team saw you promptly and that care oozed out of their every pore. This is high praise indeed and a lovely example of the patient centred care that we strive to provide.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients. It will be my pleasure to share your kind words with the wider Team in the Clinic, which I know they will be delighted to receive.
