There is currently building / renovation work going on at the building that is disrupting this service, from a service user's point of view this is not appropriate given the type of work that needs to be done.
The noise of the building work (banging/drilling) in the actual therapy room is totally distracting and defeats the purpose of being there. There is also a lot of dust from the ongoing work.
Also, the waiting area is now in an open plan space which can be crowded at times and due to the nature of being there you are left feeling very vulnerable and it is not very private and confidential, there is a lot going on and a lot of people included clients, workmen and professional staff coming and going which is very unsettling.
Also having to go from this open plan waiting area and having to walk through corridors and up stairs bumping into other people along the way is very unsettling and causes anxiety which is not appropriate given the reason why someone would be there in the first place.
Surely a plan should have been put in place to provide this service elsewhere in a more appropriate setting before any of this work was going on?
