"Unable to get an appointment"

I have been trying to get my implant which is expired removed for months now, I have been on the booking site I’d guess over 100 times and am unable to get an appointment. I am keen to start trying to conceive and this is currently holding things up.

I phoned to ask when appointments were released so I could access the webpage after they were released to be advised that each site releases appointments individually and therefore there was no particular day.  Just thought I’d highlight this. I have looked at getting this removed privately however the cost is high and I don’t feel I should be placed into this position as implant was placed by Sandyford ggc

Dear Rachel04

Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this issue to our attention. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience you have experienced in trying to book an appointment for the removal of your implant.

We understand how important this procedure is for you, especially as you are keen to start trying to conceive. Unfortunately, our appointment slots are currently full due to high demand. We are working to increase our capacity and make more appointments available as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we recommend checking our booking site regularly, as new appointments are released individually by each site. We understand this may be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience and persistence.

Thank you

Nicole
