In 2022 i went into psychosis and my partner took me to the hospital as i also attempted my own life multiple times. There i got in touch with the crisis team who later referred me to the home treatment team who i was with for a while so they could figure out what team would be best for me. In the end that was the Early Intervention team.
I was originally only meant to be with them for a year but once out of psychosis and starting CBT they realised a 3 year pathway would be more beneficial. The early intervention team saved me, it was one of the most horrifying experiences and thanks to them and everyone else who got me to them I'm doing a lot better. Now it's close to the end of my 3 year pathway and I am being prepared for moving on to the community mental health team and a charitable organisation called DRASACS.
I couldn't thank them enough, they've saved me in so many different ways and i owe them, and although it was anxiety inducing at first, every single person who works or worked there are amazing and I've come so far mentally.
