"The best i could of asked for "

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

In December 2024 I unfortunately lost my daughter who was stillborn. The staff have been nothing short of amazing kind and compassionate. I was made to feel welcome and was always kept informed about all my care and treatment. The bereavement midwife I had is an angel in disguise and she's been an absolute rock to me in my grieving process. I couldn't fault a single thing or single staff member . If every nurse or midwife was like her no women would ever feel alone . I can't express my gratitude enough and will forever remember the kindness and love shown to me .

Thank you so much for passing on this incredible piece of feedback. I can not even begin to imagine what you have been through and I have to say to take the time to write in praising our staff during what must have been such a traumatic experience shows just what incredible strength you must have.

I will pass on your lovely comments with the department who I'm sure will love to hear what you have written.

I know there is nothing in words that can be said to change what has happened, me and my wife also lost our first born a few years ago so to a degree I have a level of understanding, but I hope you'll take some comfort in the support and kindness you received from our staff.

Kind regards
