I would like to take this opportunity and thank my health visitor Michelle who is based in Magherfelt Northern Ireland. I’m a mother of 4, and recently had a baby girl who is now 8 months old. which is how I have came to know Michelle. During this time my baby has struggled with allergies/eczema, and being a breastfeeding mother, I myself have found it difficult keeping my milk supply for my daughter at times. There has been so many challenges this time around, but Michelle has been there every step of the way, offering support, advice and providing me with all the information I need to help my daughter thrive. I can honestly say she has went over and beyond unlike anyone I’ve ever met before, her care & concern for myself as a Mother, making sure I had a safe space to reach out when I needed help with my daughter.
I am truly grateful for this. Where would us mothers be without the support of our health visitors ? I know meeting Michelle, has not only added peace of mind and knowledge to my life but she has also added to my daughters life by helping me care for her in the best way possible. I have sang Michelle’s praises to family & friends and in particular my sister who recently had a baby boy and lives close by, she had hoped Michelle would be her health visitor too due but she is in another district so this wasn’t possible. I would like to take this time and say thank you Michelle for all that you have done since the day we met, and all you continue to do. You are very much needed in this world of motherhood & children. Thank you!
