"Awful experience "

The pre assessment team was extremely unprofessional. I was told in person by the Sister that the team "are not aware of the health status of the patients coming in", which is unacceptable when assessing suitability for general anaesthesia. I was then scaremongered into further blood tests by being told I was "high risk of needing a blood transfusion" which was completely untrue as I was having minimally invasive surgery. A nurse also tried to prescribe me medication without checking against my allergies and when I asked him about it he said "he thinks its ok".

I felt unsafe in this hospital and will never be attending again. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
