"Great attentive staff on Ward 5C"

(as a relative),

I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff we engaged with on Ward 5C at the end of February. In particular Marion, who was cheerful, helpful and supportive and the doctor and nurse I spoke to on the phone around 8pm on Wednesday evening and the ward clerkess.

We were told not to go to the ward by A&E staff which caused me and my dad who was very confused after a head injury and fit a lot of stress and added to his confusion when he arrived on the ward. I will be doing a separate CO post about this.

5C is a very busy ward but they still had time to speak to us, keep us informed and it is very patient-centred. I work in NHS Fife and understand the importance of this for carers, families and patients.

Big thank you to all the staff and keep up the good work.

Thank you very much for your lovely post following your father's admission to Ward 5C, Raigmore Hospital.

I am sorry to hear that he has been poorly and required acute medical care.

Jane Henderson, Directorate Nurse Manager has confirmed that she will pass your kind message onto the team, and Marion in particular. It is a busy ward, but the team pride themselves on balancing this to provide a welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
