"Small act made a big difference"

I wanted to take a few moments to say thank you to one of the nurses at the Eastwood Health & Care Centre (Bloods & Go). I have a great deal going at at the moment with work, family and my own health position. The combination of these made me feel very nervous, I know my veins are not the best when it comes to getting blood! To compound matters, I made a bit of a school boy error and did not have any fluids before I came in so that did not help.

Long story short, the nurse Jill must have noticed how I was feeling and went out her way to put me at ease. She was unable to get the required quantity of blood and as a result I said I would come back another day. In a very calm manner she said you're here now, let me work my magic and try the other arm, after a bit of fiddling it worked. I just want to thank Jill for being so considerate and understanding. It may appear a small act but on the day it made a big difference to me.
