About: Antrim Area Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

(as the patient),

I was admitted to the day procedure unit on Thursday in Antrim Area Hospital for my hernia repair the ward was lovely and clean and all the nurses were so lovely.

I was there for a total of 7 hours ive never had an operation before so i was really nervous but from the anesthetists to the nursing staff i was made feel at ease Dr McAree who performed the surgery did an amazing job once back on the ward my care was first class i was well looked after until i was allowed to go home one of the nurses actually walked me out to the car. Honestly cannot thank them all enough from the bottom of my heart absolutely outstanding care 😀
