"The best care"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I went in for metalwork removal. You had to be there at 7 and wait to be called in. I ended up being 2nd to last to go in. All of the staff were friendly and kind. I was called through for anaesthetic and we were having a good giggle.

When I came round, the staff were so attentive, and you truly felt cared for. This was the first time I've ever been to this hospital (apart from the pre-op) and I can't fault them.

The nurse who looked after me was so lovely and caring, I believe her name was Sandradene. I have seen staff in different hospitals in varying wards over the years and their bedside manner always left a lot to be desired but not here. I'm trying to figure out if I can change hospitals to Cannock from now on due to 12 hours experience. Well done to you all and keep up the amazing work.
