"Recovery with STaRS"

(as a service user),

We approached stars for help, which we were given. Our support worker, Sue, has been absolutely wonderful. She has helped us so much, not only with our substance abuse but also mentally and in other areas. For example, my washer broke and I couldn't afford a new one at the time. I approached Sue and she sourced a new washing machine for us through a charity, she was so much help to us. And she's always there at the end of the phone, even if just for a chat. She's been like a best friend to us and couldn't have done it without her support

Thank you very much for your feedback, it's really lovely to read such kind feedback about the support that you have received from STaRS.

I will make sure that Sue receives your feedback directly from myself.

I hope that you also feel proud in how far you have come and accepting this support is a positive step for yourself and your recovery. You should also feel such a strong sense of achievement for the steps that you have taken whilst engaged with STaRS.

I would also like to take the opportunity to wish you all the best in your future and recovery and pass on our best wishes from everyone at STaRS.
