Their website today says "403 Forbidden" again - for the umpteenth time this week. I managed eventually to speak to a receptionist who seemed to struggle with understanding what I was saying in English. She passed me to her colleague who was aggressive and defensive from the outset. I tried to explain what I needed; she continued to be dismissive and rude and eventually she hung up on me. It was all very distressing, but sadly not atypical of how the administrative staff treat the patients at this practice.
I am an OAP, currently experiencing palpitations and syncope, and I have just had to change my medication without any clinical monitoring despite numerous requests for advice. I was also surprised to receive this reply by text from a (non-medically trained?) receptionist responding to me submitting my blood pressure reading, which was 86/54 - obviously too low. The response I got was, “Your blood pressure reading was satisfactory. The next reading will be due in 6 months ….”
So, what to do?
I really believe one’s health is seriously at risk as a patient in this practice.
Definitely not recommended.
"rude, aggressive, worrying, alarming"
