(as the patient),

Been waiting 5 years for a reversal on my ileostomy,  was told it would be 12 months...would like to know why I have still not been told anything...

Dear Maggie M

I'm really sorry to hear that you feel you've been waiting so long for your ileostomy reversal. I completely understand how frustrating that must be for you. I want to reassure you that we don't have anyone on our waiting list for that length of time, so we'd really like to look into this for you and find out what's happened.

Please can you get in touch with one of our colorectal secretaries at the RAH on;

0141 314 7075 or 0141 314 7370.

They can check your records and speak to the colorectal team to understand where things stand. If for any reason there has been a miscommunication or delay, we will make sure we get this sorted as quickly as possible.
