"Disappointing experience "

I have been having some problems with chest pain and increased heart rate. Original GP requested bloods and ECG which I booked as two appointments on the same day. I signed in to the system but it only signed me in to the blood test and as a result I missed the ECG. Despite being in the waiting room. I arranged another ECG requested by the GP to be undertaken before my appt at the chest pain clinic. On the day of the second EGC I had a call an hour before my appointment to tell me that they didn’t have ECG equipment available. The appointment was booked as an ECG over a week ago. On both occasions I’ve had to take time out of work and on neither of the occasions have I received the diagnostic treatment I need. I am awaiting a call back from the GP to try and refer me to a hospital to have the ECG before my appointment. This is based on advice from the clinic itself and not the practice. Really concerning considering my family has a history of heart problems and now I’m having symptoms. Losing faith right now.
