"Lack of support for my daughter"

About: Adult Mental Health Community / Broxtowe & Hucknall Local Mental Health Team (LMHT)

(as a parent/guardian),

They have unfortunately not been there when needed by my daughter in the last 8 months. They respond if she goes into crisis for a bit and then disappear without trace until she hits rock bottom, and then if we are lucky we might get a returned call which usually doesn't result in any help.

When my daughter spoke to them recently telling them she wanted to end her life and was banging her head whilst on the phone, they just told her they have done a referral to a counselling service and rang off.

Morning, I am very sorry to hear of your daughters experience with the team. If you wouldn't mind ringing the team on and giving information of her name and date of birth I can look into this for you and find out how we can learn and improve our service.

You can contact us on 0115 854 1271 and the email address is BandHLMHT@nottshc.nhs.uk
