"It made me feel so special"

About: Outpatients Department / Complementary Therapy

(as a service user),

Pauline treated me and my husband at St. Andrews Hospice. We got reiki and it helped so much. I got back massages and reflexology after my husband died!

The service was so comforting and to be able to talk freely to Pauline and helpers is so comforting.

To be able to get therapies after a bereavement is something I had never had before and it proved really beneficial. Thank you so much.

It made me feel so special.

Dear yankeeyj75,

I just want to say how sorry I am about the death of your Husband. I am sure that you are feeling his loss greatly.

You mention that you had both enjoyed complimentary therapies and that you continued to have some treatments after your Husband had died. I am so pleased that you did because your care and support is very important to us. You experienced your Husbands illness along with him and I am sure that it was important to him that you receive the support that you needed.

I am glad that you found your treatments from Pauline so comforting and that being able to talk was helpful. Pauline will be delighted to get your feedback so thank you for sharing a little of your story with us.

We are always trying to build on current good practice and to continuing improving. Your comments helps us to do this

Thank you again,

Warmest regards,

Margaret
