"Annual check up and 6 month appointment cancelled"

About: Community Services (AMH) / CMHT Central

(as the patient),

I have had my appointment with the nurse lead team cancelled twice, with no knowledge of when I will get another one.

I’m Bipolar so I should have an annual health check, this has also been cancelled with no alternative given.

I understand that things happen.

They changed my CPN a few years ago and things have just gotten worse.

I know I can ring the crisis team if needed, but I find it hard to ask for help and my family worry about me not being monitored.

I have questions about my condition that I feel was brushed aside before, so I was looking forward to seeing a different nurse who might actually listen.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us, I am sorry to hear that your current experience with us is causing you concern and you feel we are not meeting your needs.

I would like to apologise for the delay in organising a follow up appointment for both your review and Physical health check.

We are looking at rearranging appointments currently within the service and will send this information out in due course.
