"Fantastic service from the team"

One afternoon my cardiac device started alarming, I got such a fright that I panicked and started to feel unwell. I contacted the  cardiac device team at Hairmyres, who reassured me that everything was fine, I still felt unwell so they made time to see me urgently.

I went to the clinic and was seen by the Lynne and Tracey who interrogated my device and found the battery running low. I was reassured that I didnt have any episodes and was listed for box change.

I am so grateful to the girls for seeing me during their busy clinic, it just made feel well looked after. I am so thankful that we have such a great device team here in Lanarkshire, who are caring, professional and above all understand patient concerns going above and beyond to help their patients. Well done Hairmyres cardiac device team!!
