I dislocated my hip thursday a.m. A painful experience and for 3rd time inside a year.
Admitted to ER via ambulance and in some pain. Immediate attention, pain was relieved with strong painkiller. Dr's couldn't get hip repositioned while I was in ER. Organised a bed in Orthopaedic ward for me. A lot more pain relief was needed and joint back in position on 2nd day. Surgeon came to see me explained what he did and that it took a bit of strength to get joint fixed and told me he'd see me in 6 weeks for review
Ward Staff were attentive, caring and compassionate. Received great care and attention throughout
