"A wonderful birthing experience"

I am incredibly grateful to the entire team in the midwife led unit and Victoria Hospital. From the moment I called in labor to being discharged as a new mum, I felt completely held, heard, and empowered. Lynda looked after me so beautifully and helped me follow my birth plan. When she explained the hopscotch method as soon as we were in labor, it was a game changer for both my husband and me, helping me to keep active, mobile and focused during the process.

My birth experience was beautiful, calm, and quiet—we were given the space we needed and longed for as a new family while still receiving attentive care in every other way. I left the hospital feeling like a complete queen, armed with early skills and knowledge that have continued to empower me at home. I gave birth to our son several months ago now and I still think about our birthing story every day, I will be forever grateful for this wonderful experience.
