I recently underwent a radical prostatectomy at the VHK. From the moment I arrived for my procedure till the minute I left, my care was first class and I am pretty sure it wouldn't have been any better had I gone private.

From the surgical team to the amazing(!) staff on Ward 54, my care and treatment was absolutely first class. The hard working night and day shift doctors on Ward 54 could not have done any better, what a highly skilled, professional, friendly and dedicated team, I only wish I could remember all there names. Beth and Alison were superb but the whole team were fantastic and an absolute credit to the N.H.S, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.

Sending much love and respect, God bless you all. Thank you.

Dear Surfb93,

Thank you so much for taking the time on providing such lovely and glowing feedback on CareOpinion.

We are extremely pleased to hear that your experience was a very positive one. The team (involving the units and doctors) have worked extremely hard on improving the patient experience involving our robotic patients. This feedback is warmly welcomed.

I am glad that you felt supported throughout your journey and I will ensure that this will be fed back to the entire team.

Should you require any further assistance, then please reach out so that we can continue to support you after your surgery.

Take care.
