"They were very thorough"

About: Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick children / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I attended the emergency department at the RVH children's hospital with my 1 year old daughter and want to put on record my thanks for the excellent care provided by Dr Sinnott and the Healthcare Assistant (didn't get his name) who helped us.

They were very thorough and made such an effort to put my daughter at ease. I was also very impressed with the time they took to fully listen to and understand my concerns and fully investigate until they determined the cause of the issue.

This was in the context of an extremely busy night in the ED but they couldn't have been more patient and attentive.

Dear Healty563,

My name is Trish McKinney and I am the Co-Director with responsibility for the Children's hospital. Thank you for taking the time to post feedback on your positive experience when attending ED in RBHSC with your daughter. I am really pleased that you were happy with the care provided and I will ensure that your comments are shared with all the staff including Dr Sinnott. I hope that your daughter continues to recover well.

Best wishes
