(as a relative),

I'd like to express my thanks to Lisa (social worker) at Inverclyde HSCP for the care and attention she showed my dad and also my mum as his carer. My dad was living with dementia which was advancing, and she provided responsive and appropriate interventions when we needed her.

My Mum was very grateful for her support as she felt listened to, and as a carer this was very important to her. Sadly my dad died at the end of January, but prior to this Lisa was working hard with Mario at Alzheimer Scotland day care to provide additional support. The family would like to say thank you to Lisa for all her support.

I am so sorry to read that your Dad has passed away. My condolences to you, your mum and your family.

I know that Lisa will be very pleased to receive this positive feedback about her work with your family and supporting families in this was is what makes the job worthwhile. I will pass on your feedback to Lisa and Mario at Alzheimer Scotland.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback at a sad time and the feedback helps us to learn from experiences about what matters to people the most.
