I arrived on the unit and was greeted by a very friendly nurse who took me to be checked in and gowned up. They provide dignity pants for the procedure which was great.
It was really clear the time stated on the letter wasn’t the appointment time and you would likely have a wait, this was explained in the documents sent out to home and was really good to know and expect that prior to, but it was a comfortable wait, staff kept you updated and there was a telly on and a friendly waiting room to keep you going although my wait wasn’t long at all.
My procedure was conducted by Aaron and a team of fabulous nurses and a student nurse. Aaron and the girls were just amazing, creating a very relaxed and comfortable environment and we had some giggles chatting away which I just love when you instantly feel comfortable amongst people. Everything was explained, I knew what was happening at all times and I really felt in safe, trusted hands.
Great experience had in the recovery bay, the nurses were very attentive. The drink and snack was very welcomed and when I was ready to go to the discharge room to get my paperwork, I was once again encouraged and offered to have any drinks and snacks and made to feel comfortable. Again everything explained with regards to what happened in the procedure.
Overall a 10/10 service. Fantastic, hard working and lovely staff and although I hope not to have to return, I would be more than happy to.
Thank you guys!
