(as a relative),

My husband has recently been in for surgery on his shoulder.

The care he received was second to none and each and every member of staff treated him with dignity and respect.

This made the whole experience a positive one for both him and me, I was safe in the knowledge he was in good hands.

Thank you to the whole team.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the care provided by the staff in the Day Surgery Unit within University Hospital Ayr

I am sorry to hear that your husband required an admission to our Day Surgery Unit, but glad to know that the care he received was second to none and that our staff treated him with dignity and respect resulting in a positive experience for both of you. This is a lovely example of the patient centred care that we strive to provide.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team in the Unit. I know they will all be delighted to receive this feedback and it will be really encouraging for them to know that your husband felt so well supported by them.
