"All the staff were absolutely great"

My partner collapsed at home and was brought into A/E via Ambulance in the early hours of the morning. We are both paramedics so it was completely unnerving to be at the receiving end of the service.

However, all the staff were absolutely great - and he was discharged by midday on Tuesday.

He was triaged in the RAT room immediately, given a cubicle and a cup of tea. All the staff from HCA upwards were very professional, caring and empathetic.

We eventually ended up in SDEC where my partner was fitted with a Zio monitor before being discharged.

So this is a huge thank you to every single member of staff that we came into contact with - including Xray, junior docs, consultant, nursing staff and anyone we have forgotten. It was a very long stressful night but we are home and my partner is on the mend.
