"Great care from A&E staff"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

I attended A&E after a fall - although I was there for a long time the doctor who saw me was thorough and made sure that I had a number of tests involving different departments to ensure that everything had been diagnosed. I felt very cared for, and she made sure I had something to eat and drink when I had to wait a long time for a member of another team. The only downsides were 1) the A&E waiting area is very cold and 2) for the last hour while waiting for the end of a clinic so that an eye specialist could look at me I was moved to a different part of the hospital and told I may be admitted but with no information about why. I asked the nurse there to chase the eye specialist which she did but if I hadn't done so I am not sure what would have happened. Thank you to the A&E team and particularly the doctor who saw me.
