"Baby Massage, HSC NI"

About: Health Visitors / North Down & Ards Health Visitors

(as a service user),

My Health Visitor invited me to attend a baby massage course with my second born son (my first-born was born during the pandemic when there were none of these type of classes on).

I have just completed the 5 week course and couldn't recommend it more. The infant masseuse, Lorna, was excellent - from demonstrating the correct way to massage different parts of baby's body incl. massages for colic relief, engaging with all Mums and babies each week, and also giving the Mums the opportunity to meet & engage with other Mums with young babies (similar to a mother and baby group, but coming away with an added skill!)- I couldn't recommend Lorna / this course more.
I was unable to attend the last week & Lorna kindly provided an at-home visit at a more suitable time to go through what I had missed, which was particularly helpful.

For anyone offered a place on this type of course, don't think twice!

Hi CMO76338

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review of the service you have received from Lorna.

It is a privilege to be able to teach baby massage to our parents/care givers and the benefits for both the baby and the person giving the massage are, as you have found so beneficial.

I will ensure Lorna receives your lovely comments.

kindest regards

Helen Leigh
