(as the patient),

Recently on a Thursday in Early Feb, I travelled to Perth Royal Infirmary - Women's Health Clinic, to attend an appointment as I was having post menopausal challenges. I had to travel for 90 minutes on 2 buses, and being new to the area, I was unsure of how to get to the hospital so despite hiding it with a smiley face, I was actually quite anxious inside on arrival. 

I knew that it would involve internal scans and I was really feeling worried about the procedure.

From the moment that I arrived at the hospital I was immediately put at ease with the level of customer care and communication skills displayed by the lady on reception to Sonya and Donna who carried out the tests/procedures.
Donna came to collect me at exactly the time of my appointment, then both Sonya and Donna are very personable and they made the whole process seem very simple, relaxed and quick. I cannot thank them enough for putting me at ease and for making the procedure manageable for me. 
Despite being told that I would need further tests, I left the clinic feeling very calm and grateful in the knowledge that upon my return in a few weeks, I will receive the very best level of customer care, by an awesome team. 
Thank you so much Sonia, Donna and the lady on the reception desk, it may have been your normal routine way of delivering service to you, but you really made a situation that I thought was going to be very difficult for me, much easier to manage. 5 Stars *****

I am delighted that from first arriving to the department you found it to be welcoming and you were put at ease. We do then strive to provide person centred care which you clearly have identified with regards to you patient journey.
