"Dads sudden illness"

About: Urgent Community Response / Bassetlaw Urgent Community Response Team

(as a relative),

I was concerned for my father who appeared to have breathing difficulties and was not as responsive as usual.

Our care company called UCR and they arrived in minutes.

They were concerned enough by their findings to warrant a call for an ambulance to attend.

Dad was taken to hospital and was found to be suffering from pneumonia. Thanks to the teams involved and the advice they gave, we caught it in time to respond to treatment.

We also received a follow-up call a few days later from Carl. Many thanks to all involved.
