"I remain totally grateful for his amazing support"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat Victoria Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat Victoria Hospital / SEAL (Surgical Elective Admission Lounge)

(as the patient),

Medical Procedure in the SEAL unit Victoria Hospital.

Last Thursday I attended the Vic for a scheduled medical procedure. The Consultant operating was the absolutely superb Mr. Miles, who I have become to know fairly well as he completed similar but more involved procedures a few years ago in the Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline. On that occasion Miles mastered three separate procedures taking around three hours and the successful outcome totally changed my life for the better and Miles fully understood the immense relief his skills gave me.

But for last week he had a somewhat easier procedure as it was only the one area that he had to operate on. Saying that his amazing skills, patience and can do attitude made the whole thing much easier for me as the patient. Indeed Miles and his surgical team were all excellent and so re-assuring from the off and I trust this amazing man with my life any day of the week.

Miles knows well that I personally rate the ENT units in the Vic and Queen Margaret to be the shining jewels of the hospital. For over twenty years I have had amazing service/relief from all staff with a special mention for Trish, Shirley and Susan to name but three. The ENT makes my life much more bearable and words can never portray my total appreciation and admiration for all the staff involved.

As for Miles! Well only Miles and my darling wife, really understand how indebted I am for having been taken as a patient of Miles and I remain totally grateful for his amazing support, patience and incredible expertise.

For me personally Miles truly is “a man for all seasons “.

Thank you Miles and thank you Trish and everyone at ENT Vic/Queen Marg.

If only the NHS was run by people like these!!!
